Student Study Teams

A Student Study Team meeting (SST) is:

- A problem solving meeting. The problem can be academic or behavior based

- A meeting held by the request of the teacher, parent or other support staff

- A meeting to discuss the student's strengths and to build upon them 

- A meeting to discuss an action plan for moving forward

 

WHO IS INVOLVED?

- The teacher(s)

- Oftentimes the student

- Administration, or other support staff as needed

 

WHAT AN SST IS NOT

- Special Education

- An opportunity for a parent conference
