  • Be honest
  • Use common sense
  • Be seated when the tardy bell rings (unless given different instructions); tardies effect your participation grade – parents and/or administration will be notified if tardies become a  problem
  • Absences – you are responsible for finding out what you missed during your absence and making up any missed work
  • Medical excuses require a parent note for up to 3 days and a doctor’s note for more than 3 days (students are responsible for respecting parent and doctor’s notes)
  • Be prepared for class; wear appropriate clothing (be aware of the weather), athletic shoes & socks, empty your pockets and don’t bring unnecessary things to class

  • Food, beverages, and gum are never allowed during class (bottled water is the exception when we are outside). NEVER IN THE GYM

WHAT MAKES A GOOD P.E. SHOE?

  • A sturdy heel box - if you can easily fold it over, you will not get much support
  • A shock absorbing, cushioned sole
  • An enclosed, supportive upper with laces or a velcro closure
  • Plenty of life still left in it – no holes and has a distinguished tread
  • A good arch support
  • A proper fit – not too small and not too big
  • A good pair of shoes will help keep you safe and help you take care of your whole body
